At Mailman, she gained pediatric diagnostic and amplification experience and completed leadership education in neurodevelopmental disabilities (LEND) training. After externship, Dr. Romero remained at the University of Miami and the Mailman Center. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities as the Emerging Leader representative and was recognized by ASHA as a Distinguished Early Career Professional in 2023. Having a grandmother who was diagnosed with Ménière’s disease provided her with a personal view of the struggles and frustrations created by balance disorders. In 2016, she was awarded most outstanding student enrolled in audiology at the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama (SHAA) conference. Dr. Sacchinelli holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Her mission is to provide comprehensive audiological and vestibular services based on clinical expertise while most importantly incorporating patient values and expectations. Outside of work, Dr. Sacchinelli enjoys playing volleyball and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Snyde Simbert moved to America from Haiti in her early teens. Raised in Brooklyn by a single mother who taught her and her sisters the value of higher education and the goal to achieve the American dream, Snyde focused on her studies.

Snyde started her career in NYC at Kings County Hospital where she worked for 9 years addressing issues of hearing and balance for children and adults. She has moved throughout the US with her family yet remains focused on helping the clients who needed her assistance. She has worked at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Maine Hospital, HearUSA, All American Hearing and Connect Hearing. She has worked in management as a clinical supervisor at South Florida ENT in Weston and a clinic director at the Center for Hearing and Communication in Fort Lauderdale. She joined Associated Coastal ENT in 2021 with the sole focus of providing excellent care and assistance to those who need her.
Snyde is the proud mother of two daughters whom she adores beyond life itself. She enjoys reading, working out and traveling. She is fluent in Creole, French, English and basic working knowledge of Spanish.

Samantha Veerling, Au.D.
Dr. Samantha Veerling received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College. She then received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she graduated with high honors. During her doctoral program, she was selected to be a trainee in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.
